DETROIT—Volkswagen AG on Thursday replaced the head of its U.S. operation after several months of slumping sales for the auto maker’s mass market VW brand.
Jonathan Browning, who had run Volkswagen of America since 2010, is leaving the company to pursue other interests, and will be replaced by Michael Horn, a VW veteran who has been running its global parts and services business, the company said.
