Great news.....I solved the problem! It's actually my internet connection! When I'm downstairs or in the back of the house upstairs I have access to the Presentations on my iPad...it's when I'm in my bedroom (furthest away from the modem which is located at the back of the garage in my Mom's office area) I either get the 401-unauthorized error OR the presentation doesn't load correctly and when I tap on something I then get the error. My laptop stays in my bedroom which is why I'm always getting the error message. The problem has to do with my internet speed. Which explains why I had no problems viewing the presentations at the library the day after I started getting the errors!
So I now have complete access to the presentations as long as I'm not in my bedroom. Which explains why the Academic Advisor who helped me the first time was able to access the presentations and I wasn't.
When I'm home I log in using Huh's Net and when the weather starts getting wacky I end up having issues. So the 401 error message was simply because my internet connection was too slow to load the presentations correctly!
This is why using a different computer wouldn't have done any good because it would have used the same ISP my laptop and iPad use.
Pending any major disasters with the Presentations I'm good to go now and have full access to them again.
