Hi, Cosmar!

I am sending you a routine I used to get my cards under control. If I had not done this, I would not have been able to pass the tests and fully understand all the body parts. I feel much more prepared with th follong approach. Be sure to look at the attachment as well. You will need 3" x 5" cards to priint out the definitions with this system. I got 200 for $1.00 at the Dollar Tree or maybe some other teriffic discount store. Do not buy them at the Office Max and super office places. They are not any better.

Typing Cards:

Basically this system involves using Word and the Table Tab. One page 1-insert a table of 3 squares using the page layout of narrow margins and a .25" bottom margin. Line up 3 squares at 3" x 5" each. Center the squares on the page (each square is as big as the card). Do the same for page 2. Start on any page of any system where there are words. With page 1-type one definition in each square (3 definitions per page and one definiton per square). On page two insert the squares just like for page 1. Type the term for each definition from page 1(Square # 1 must have the term for defintion square #3 of the definitions. Square 2 keeps the same square as from square 2 on the definition page. Square 3 takes the term for definition in square 1 of the definition page).

Printing Out the Cards

Copy 2 pages of squares (blank)-label each one page 1 and page 2. Take your cards and put them on page 1 (1 card on each square). These are the definitions. Tape each card between the cards (they will stay stationary as the printer prints out). Position the paper full of cards which ever way your printer prints on them. Print out page 1(definitions). After they are done-gently remove them from page 1 keeping them lined up-turn upside down so the letters are upside down (number 1 will be in number 3 space-don't panic). Take blank sheet #2. Put the connected cards upside down (letters going toward floor). Gently tape them-they are ready for printing page 2 (terms). Definition card #1 is in number 3 space-don't panic. Insert the cards for accurate printing as your printer says to do. Assign the printer to print page 2. The terms shoud appear on the flip side of their defininitions. Do this for every prefix/suffix/combination word-parts/memorized terms/ abbreviations. Its a headache but well worth the effort. I have up to 1800 terms/words/abbreviations. I'm afraid to count. They will be with me for every job I do. This is the job. If you have any questions and want to get in touch use my e-mail at "cami916@live.com".  I hope this helps.
