I think I can give insight into what happened with your exams, and I can also advise you so that it won't happen again eliminating all unnecessary frustration.
When you clicked into exam 3 for your Accounting course for the first time, the exam was abandoned for 23 hours. When you went back in to officially answer the questions after accessing the exam previously, you were actually completing the cycle of the first entry. The system allowed you to answer questions enough to get the score you received before it recognized that the exam was previously accessed before you officially went in to take it.
