I'd like input from people who have taken Spanish 2 or Spanish 3 online with JMHS. I took Spanish 1 and 2 at my regular public high school. The first year was good and I liked it and got a B. There were projects, tests, and lots of homework. I got a B. The second year I didn't do as well because I was uncomfortable trying to speak Spanish out loud in class while my teacher criticized me. I got a C and it was CP level. She told me I don't have aptitude for it. So this year I didn't take it. I'm about to register for JMHS Spanish 3. How do you like it? Are there any recorded lessons so you can hear the pronunciation, or is it all textbook? Do you have to submit recordings of your own voice, or are the tests all multiple choice and written documents? I have forgotten a lot. I'm not sure if I should do this over the summer or not because I have to keep up my GPA. On the other hand, my guidance counselor says we should have 3 years of a world language.
