Logistically, there are NO certifications that are "required" per se. There are some credentials that some savy clients may know to look for, but for the most part, you can call yourself a travel agent and many people will accept you as such. However, in my journey, I've made sure I've educated myself as much as I can so that I provide good service to my clients and feel comfortable doing so.
